Rod is the owner and founder of Great Lakes Construction Specialists. Raised in the construction industry, Rod has many years of experience in all aspects of managing the construction process. Licensed contractor with experience in construction across several states, Rod is able to lean on his experiences as both developer and builder to add value on most construction related topics.

Great Lakes Construction Specialists, LLC was started to help individuals and companies achieve better outcomes in the construction process. The culmination of many months of dreaming, planning, and saving turned into a completed project can be such a beautiful thing. But so many times, construction projects fall victim to the many pitfalls inherent in the industry and the result can be filled with frustration, disappointment and loss.

Like all developers and construction managers, we've experienced both the wonderful aspects of realizing completion of a new construction project along with the disappointment of failure. We've learned so much over the years and now we want to share our experiences with others to help optimize the chance for success.

As developers, we have designed, financed, and constructed a variety of projects from single family investment properties to large multi-family developments. Over the years, we have bought, traded, flipped, built and managed several investment properties and projects. We have experience in designing, planning, financing, building and selling properties and projects.

As construction managers, we have built a wide range of projects from single family homes, to office and retail, to multi-family projects, to heavy industrial/commercial projects. Projects we have constructed range from <$100K to over $20 million in size. We've experienced great success over the years and we've seen failures as well. All of these experiences have helped shape and improve our capability to be qualified Construction Specialists.
